However, the journey didn't stop there. When my partner Kirsty and I took a closer look, we realized that more could be done. Kirsty suggested tweaking the menu background, and with her encouragement, I gave it a shot.
I reached out to Arman and asked if he could craft some Halloween-inspired music, and he was more than happy to contribute his talent to the project.
This momentum carried forward, and before I knew it, the art pack evolved into something much grander. It's more than just a makeover; it's a complete transformation, touching everything except the towers and a couple of UI elements. I even threw in some fresh new cursors for good measure!
I'm genuinely delighted with how the art pack has turned out, and to my surprise, I managed to wrap things up ahead of schedule. So, keep your eyes peeled for its release in October. I'm just waiting on Steam to review the webpage, and a few friends are giving it a test run too! As always, you can wishlist or purchase Defend from Candyland! on Steam by following this link! With this project now under my belt, I'm excited to refocus on Supernatural Hunters. Once I've cleared some more client work and put the finishing touches on my business pitch for September, I'll be diving back into the world of Supernatural Hunters. Trust me, the enthusiasm is real! I'm also planning to get the Steam store page up and running for it soon.
In the meantime, stay curious and keep an eye on this space for updates.
Cheers,
Michael “MI Pixel” Ingram
